Development environment

The goal is to support an Eclipse-friendly development environment, but maintaining baseline support for Maven 2 builds.

Target platform

The end target is to continue to provide a Fedora as a web application that can be deployed to any servlet container (e.g. Tomcat). If possible, we'll try to support deployment directly against an OSGi container as well, but this may depend on developments with RFC 66 (OSGi Web Container), among other issues.
