Notes:

1. DSpace 2019 Budget

  • 2018 P&L and 2019 budget presented by Valorie.
  • Questions about adding cumulative reserve to the budget.
  • Budget will be further discussed and changes proposed via email.
  • Target is to approve budget/changes by next Leadership group meeting.

2. Repository Rodeo" panel at OR2019 (in Germany)

  • Good opportunity for presentation from someone from Leadership/Steering on behalf of DSpace.
  • Participation on panel.
  • Should be non-technical, and Tim can help with slides.
  • Needs to be submitted by the call for proposals deadline, but presenters can be added later.
  • Salwa wants to help with the content but can not present as she will not be attending OR2019.
  • Pascal is volunteering to present.
  • Cesar suggested to also ask Michele.
  • Presenters can be decided later when the proposal has been accepted and people have decided to attend OR2019 or not.
  • Salwa will send out an email to everyone who is absent to ask for volunteers.

3. GDPR and work done by vendor DSquare technologies

  • Due to the nature of this discussion, the minutes from this section are only available to the LG members at this link

4. DSpace roadmap 2019-2021

  • Salwa created a spreadsheet for the DSpace 3-year roadmap working group and the spreadsheet will be shared to start discussions.
