- Is JAAS-based pluggability (what FeSL AuthN assumes) sufficient for Shibboleth support?
- What about the more general scenario where Apache is taking care of AuthN and needs to pass down:
  - REMOTE_USER
  - User attributes
Resources we dug up last week:

  - ajs6f: Just a follow-on note: the SPIE project at Oxford wound down in 2007. I can't find any of their code or much of their website-- at this point, I'm not confident, but I'll send some emails that way and see what I find.
