Overview

In order to install Islandora, you will have to install (at minimum) Drupal and Fedora installed. The next three sections will lead you through the installation of Drupal, Fedora, and the Islandora Module. There are other applications that are required to run modules such as Solr and the solution packs. A list of these dependencies, and installation instructions, are provided in Chapter 9 - Enabling Indexing & Searching with Solr.
