The Preservation Workflow describes a default multi-step deposit workflow for Hyrax, enabling selection of PCDM Objects (Objects) for preservation in a deep archive.
Due to the nature of workflow configuration in Hyrax, this specification defines an advisory default implementation of a preservation workflow. It is targeted at meeting the Use Cases defined for the OTM grant. Additional workflows supporting similar preservation functions may emerge, targeting the Gateway/Bridge specifications or other deep archives.
