What has changed in the files for a new version (maintenance procedures)

In 1.6? Work done on server side to extract text strings to all.properties
Done only for public facing pages, not necessarily complete
Additional RDF files were translated as well
No facility to add translation for page titles, etc. (low hanging fruit)?
The languages repository - only one set of directories
Refactor for separate branches for each version?

Messages exist in JSP, need to see how that fits in
Have some text still in Java (John: possibly in admin pages)

Using English in site admin is preferable, because of help topics, etc.

Issue about the ontology files
All in English so far
We’re about to add language tags to text strings in RDF - partly because of Jena 3 upgrade
These labels appear in the interface - sometimes as headings

In china, they’ve concatenated english and mandarin in single label
