Vagrant is a tool for configuring virtual machines.
The VIVO apps and tools working group is working on a virtual machine for VIVO configured through Vagrant. An initial version is available on Github . Its based on an Ubuntu Precise 64 server base box. It has been tested and works with VirtualBox on both Mac and Windows 7 host operating systems. If you have questions or comments, feel free to open an issue on the Github project.
