-->combined DSpace/Fedora user group mtg
sounds good, need to see practical idea - need to address perception of "DSpace" specific user group mtg, need to work on more interactive presentations
-ask for info on who watches video? so you know who is interested and can tap them later?
-RELEASE PLANNING: See item #1.
-wiki cleanup/re-org project (Rea, Alvin, Julie): missed the chance for a spring intern, will start process August for the fall semester
-discussion capability of Crowdvine: we can customize

1) How does the DGOC want to be involved in Community Advisory Team?
Please read the 3 proposals on the wiki for evolving the release process: http://wiki.dspace.org/index.php/Proposals#Release_Cycle.2FProcess_Proposals. Please also read the transcript of the developers/cmtr mtg from Wed, March 10: http://duraspace.org/irclogs/index.php?date=2010-03-10. The cmtrs favor the "Community Advisory Team/Release Advisory Team" proposal and want to know how DGOC wants to be involved.
Morning feedback:
-all think DGOC should be involved in Community Advisory Team (CAT)
-caveat that we need to understand community needs better
-How does CAT role relate to DGOC - simply representatives/liasons from DGOC and Cmtr group? Discrete group? Must come from DGOC?
-role rotation - all of us being involved all the time might be too much - need a defined timeframe for just a few individuals
-the rest of DGOC would support w/some feedback/brainstorming/muscle, possibly tap into Ambassadors for more networking/feedback
-CAT role needs to appear open to anyone in the community
-have the DGOC/CAT members take responsiblity for testing, formalize and take turns
-still involved with w/DGOC - regular mtgs/mtg spaces
-merge DGOC and CAT? we should have more RM, more ideas and broader representation

2) New Instance List/Dynamic Database Review
-Please explore the new instance list in beta form! http://www.dspace.org/component/option,com_formdashboard/Itemid,151/orderby,InstNameASC/page,1/
-Goal to launch the last wk of April!
-Morning feedback on usability: what's good, what could be improved
-alpha sort available at top of dashboard? go right to 'N' for either country or institution
-missing repository names on some of the instances - Deep Blue, IDEALs
-how to list consortiums - currently "NITLE_institution name", "BIBSYS_institution name" - should it be different?
