GOALS

Goals of the Preservation and Archiving Community include:

  • Build the community of stakeholders including, administrators, architects, archivists, data curators, librarians, preservationists, software developers, technologists, etc.
  • Establish an information exchange that covers a broad range of topics including certification of repositories, policies, standards, frameworks, technology and tools, and processes for archiving, preserving and curating.
  • Encourage and facilitate the reuse of preservation services, software, and technology that is available in the Fedora and digital preservation community.
