- A. Soroka stated that no new bugs had come in since last RC
- Unknown User (acoburn) reported that
is a blocker, so it needs to be merged and the clock will be reset for 3 more weeks.Jira server DuraSpace JIRA serverId c815ca92-fd23-34c2-8fe3-956808caf8c5 key FCREPO-2098 - A. Soroka requested that the original reporter should verify that it's fixed in the new RC we roll out.
- Some question about whether bug fixes always resets the clock ... no it adds a week to the release schedule.
- August 25th, 26th is our current expected release.
Import/Export Sprint
- 3:00PM Eastern meeting tomorrow to nail down resources and requirements
- Sprint will be August 8th - August 19th.
Fedora Transform
- fcrepo-transform includes an ldpath piece based on jena but has some limitations
- A superior implementation of LDpath exists
- Changing the back-end is really challenging, and Unknown User (acoburn) has rewritten the whole thing in Camel
- Unknown User (acoburn) suggested removing the old fcrepo-transform, and throwing it to labs or some other place where it's no longer our responsibility
- Since this his holding us up from migrating to jena 3, supporting fcrepo-transform at all seems to be a problem.
- Some people are using it (perhaps MD), but they'll likely be aided by the changes.
- Will ask Andrew Woods what his concerns are and determine whether we can move forward quickly or not.
