Welcome to the project wiki-space for the Linked Data for Libraries (LD4L) Labs project.  With the support of a $1.5 million dollar grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Linked Data for Libraries: LD4L Labs is a collaboration of Cornell, Harvard, Iowa, and Stanford to continue to advance the use and usefulness of linked data in libraries. Project team members will create and assemble tools, ontologies, services, and approaches that use linked data to improve the discovery, use, and understanding of scholarly information resources. The goal is to pilot tools and services and to create solutions that can be implemented in production at research libraries within the next three to five years. The project team will develop tools and provide direct support for projects within the related LD4P Program.

The Linked Data for Libraries (LD4L) Labs project has finished (2016-2018) and LD4L Labs Outputs are described on this wiki. See also LD4P Outputs from the related LD4P project. The next phase, Linked Data for Production: Pathway to Implementation (LD4P2) is now underway.
