|Title||Migrate content from earlier versions of Fedora to Fedora 6|
|Primary Actor||Repository Repository Engineer, Preservation Archivist|
|Level||Very High Summary|
|Story (A paragraph or two describing what happens)|
Provide the ability to migrate content from previous versions of Fedora to Fedora 6. Previous versions should include at least Fedora versions 3, 4 and 5.
Migrate the content (files and metadata), the inter-content and intra-content relationships, and the audit history of the content.
Migrate all content so that Fedora 6 administers the content in a fashion as good or better than the previous Fedora. Specifically, if the previous Fedora manages the bits, Fedora 6 should manage the bits. If the previous Fedora is aware of but does not manage the bits (external content), Fedora 6 should also be at least aware of, and (optionally, if possible) migrate and manage the bits.
