Three community-at-large members of the steering group can be nominated by anyone affiliated with any VIVO member institution, and self-nominations are accepted. At least four nominations must be received. If less than four nominations are received, nominations will remain open.
Forming the Steering Group
Once the new Leadership Group convenes each July, the Steering Group is chosen. The Steering Group is a subset of the Leadership Group. After the first Leadership Group meeting, members can nominate themselves or any other member to serve on the Steering Group. At least five members must be nominated to serve on the Steering Group; without five nominations, the process remains open.
