explicit inflection proposal:

• ?info requests metadata
• ?info required, but spec still reserves '?' and '??' as optional synonyms 
• ?info requests anvl/erc, but alternate formats can be returned if unavailable
  • still using THUMP conventions with parenthesized args
  • ?info equivalent to ?info()
  • this cracks open the door for future possibilities, such as
  •       ?info()as(application/json)
