  • (30 mins) General Discussion Topics
    1. TOMORROW is the PR Merge Deadline. All PRs for 7.2 should be merged this week.  Any not merged, are highly likely to miss 7.2.  (Note: bug fixes can still be merged after this week as long as they are well tested.)
    2. Open Repositories 2022 (June 6-9 in Denver). Who is planning to attend? What would we want to plan for DSpace 7?
      1. DSpace 7.2/7.3 workshop: Should we submit a proposal for an in-person workshop at OR2022?  Or should we consider doing an online workshop at a different date?
      2. DSpace 7.2/7.3 talks: Same question. We could aim for a series of talks at OR2022, or we could look to schedule a virtual user group some other time in 2022.
    3. Planning / Prep for 7.3.  Feel free to start claiming (high priority) tickets from either of these two boards:
      1. 7.3 Board (all incomplete/unclaimed 7.2 tickets have been moved to here)
      2. 7.x Tier 1 Board (all remaining highest priority features)
An unclaimed, high priority bug we may want to fix prior to 7.2
      1. Moving an Item can accidentally delete it (needs analysis): https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/issues/8055
    4. (Other Topics?)
  • (30 mins) Planning for next week
    • Review the Backlog Board - Are there any tickets here stuck in the "Triage" column?  We'd like to keep this column as small as possible.
    • Review the 7.2 Project Board - Assign tickets to developers & assign PRs to reviewers.
      • Paid (by DSpace project) developers must keep in mind priority. If new "high" or "medium" priority tickets come in, developers should move effort off of "low" priority tasks.
      • Volunteer developers are allowed to work on tickets regardless of priority, but ideally will review code in priority order.
