To generate the PDF document, use the "Export to PDF" option (Tools -> Export to PDF) from the DSpace System Documentation page of the Wiki. (NOTE: We we currently use the Scroll PDF Exporter plugin for Confluence to export PDF content).

• Select "Tools -> Export to PDF" on the Documentation homepage,
• On "General" Tab:
  • Select the "DSpace PDF Template"
  • Select export "This page and its children".
  • Leave "Ad-Hoc workflows" unchecked.
  • Uncheck all Advanced Options.
• On the "PDF Properties" Tab, give the Document a title ( e.g. "DSpace 4.x Documentation")On
• Select the "DSpace PDF Template (with child pages)" simple option.  This will use the default options for generating a PDF. (The default options are usually perfectly fine, but if you wanted to tweak them, there's a "Customize Settings" link in the lower left)
• Click Linking" Tab, select the "Add page numbers to internal links" option.Finally, click the "Start Export" button
• After a few minutes, a PDF should be Wait for ~10+ minutes while the PDF is generated. Give it a quick look through for formatting errors (larger errors may be highlighted in RED automatically by the Scroll PDF Exporter plugin, which generated this PDF)
