See http://dantwining.co.uk/2011/07/18/how-to-shrink-a-dynamically-expanding-guest-virtualbox-image/ for info on shrinking a VirtualBox image for easier sharing with others. I was able to reduce the size of a VIVO 1.5.1 Virtual Box export (OVA) from 2.5GB to just over 1.0GB using this method.
