The VIVO Conference August is coming up fast.  August 12-14, Cambridge, MA.  Register this week.  The VIVO Conference is our biggest event of the year.  Two great keynote speakers, a strong line-up of invited and contributed talks, and poster session all focused focus on getting the most from VIVO.  I look forward to seeing you there for this important opportunity to learn and share.  Rates go up at the end of the week.  Register here:  VIVO Conference Registration.

July 15 (Wednesday) deadline for nominations to the Steering Group.  Nominations remain open through Wednesday.  We look forward to elections the following week.

Last call for Roadmap Survey. The VIVO Roadmap Survey is open and available here:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YGT2RRK.  We have had a very good response to the survey.  If you have replied, thanks!  If you have not yet filled out the survey, please take a some time early this week to share your thoughts about the future of VIVO.

Outreach and Engagement Work Group calls starting.  As reported previously, the Outreach and Engagement workgroup, co-chaired by Julia Trimmer of Duke and Kristi Holmes of Northwestern, will be restarting its regular call series beginning Tuesday, July 21 at 1 PM Eastern.  See Outreach and Engagement Working Interest Group for call details.  All are welcome.

Last call for nominations for Steering Group.  We have received nominations for the Steering Group.  This is the last week for nominations from the Leadership Group.  

I hope you will participate in the VIVO Roadmap Survey.  Should take 30 minutes or so.  The survey gives you an opportunity to share your thoughts about the future of VIVO and contribute to the development of the VIVO roadmap.
