Q. Why do I get no results for a search for a PID in Advanced Search?

A. You are not using the latest version of Islandora. You used to have to  With earlier versions of Solr you had to escape the colon in searches for PIDs, but no longerIslandora now supports Solr 4.10 and recommends config files that enable searching full PIDs.
