The Keck Institute for Space Studies is located on the Caltech campus at 345 South Michigan Ave. (map). From the hotel, you can head east on Cordova St. to South Michigan Ave. and turn right. Complimentary shuttles will also be available to take you from the hotel to the camp in the morning and back to the hotel in the evening. A reception will be held on Monday, April 11 at Bodega Wine Bar starting at 6:30pm, located only a couple blocks from the hotel (directions). If you don't want to walk, a taxi from the hotel will cost about $6. A variety of appetizers, including vegetarian and gluten-free options, will be available. Attendees will receive , along with drink tickets for the barbeer and wine.
Dinner - 12 April
An informal dinner will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at the Dog Haus Biergarten starting at 7:30pm, located a few blocks from the hotel (directions). If you don't want to walk, a taxi from the hotel will cost about $8. Attendees can order an entree and a drink off the menu, and a selection of sides will be provided. We'll also order a few pitchers of beer for the tables. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available.
