The presentation to UCLA catalogers is based largely on an opinion column recently written for Technicalities newsletter “Unpacking the Meaning of ‘NACO Lite’.” (2018). It also contains some reflections on UCLA’s participation in the PCC-ISNI Pilot and a preview of an upcoming question set from the OCLC Research Library Partners Metadata Managers Focus Group. All the content relates to the transition of authority work from an authority control focus to identity management.
