Users should be able to manage Item (an other DSpaceObject) Metadata when hierarchical in nature.

Users should be able to describe "subfields" of a specific field (example: author namepart)

Users should be able to define metadata as an "Authority Record" for use in assignment of metadata value to other items. for example, by indexing into Authority Control for selection during "term completion"

    Does this hierarchy exist only at the item level, or would it exist at the collection/community level?
