Background
What can one say about the voyage from past to present, about the continuing mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new data and new architectures, to boldly debug what no one has debugged before. Andrew's journey to DuraSpace... has taken him past the deepest blackboards of East Africa and central Miami, in and out of academic systems, and across a spectrum of government entities, from transparent to mysterious. It has inspired the fusion of a cultural regard layered over computer science. But ultimately, this path has instilled in Andrew a firm belief in the open source from whence our data emerges, and through which it shall be preserved.
