DSpace-CRIS brings to the end-users several new features and improvements. Among many other improvements that could be unlisted (please help us to make this documentation as complete as possible!) the following are the most relevant:

  • Detail page for each object: Researcher Page, Organisation Unit, Project, Journal, etc.
  • Advanced usage statistics with graph, maps, top list and complete access to the tabular data
  • Metrics and indicators such as citation count, productivity, etc. about any object (item, Researcher Page, Organisation, etc.) 
  • Global search with highlighting 
  • Advanced search and virtual partitioning of the repository
  • Network visualization to highlight collaboration among researchers: coauthoring, coinvestigation, etc.
  • Subscription to custom newsletter containing usage statistics and content update on interesting objects
