Interviews and Surveys

  • Michele had discussion with Kim. She is not available until Nov.
  • Benefits of using her include her experience/expertise in conducting surveys and the fact that it frees up the team for other activities
  • Jonathan will be getting in touch with Kim for a more detailed discussion of the DfR needs
  • Should plan to discuss the purpose of the survey and the interviews (as we see it). Show the list of assumptions we want to validate.
• Dan will start putting together the interview layout
  • Should include some indication of whether the interview confirms/refutes assumptions
• Danny reaching out to researchers he knows
  • One agreed to a half-hour phone interview
  • One friend is ill at the moment, hoping to get referrals
  • Waiting to hear back from another friend
• Should ask Carissa and Carol about DuraSpace/DuraCloud swag that we could hand out to researchers
