I frequently get a the request to change the name of a bitstream, eg remove space, fix spelling, ...

Users who want to change a bitstream's name during the upload step, must rename the file on their local computer and upload a second time.

One reason for this is that the bitstream name is automatically assigned on the basis of the uploaded file's name.  At a minimum users should get the option to change the suggested bitstream name. In addition - with a regexp  configuration option - users could be reminded of the institutions naming standard.
