  • Release status: 3.8.0
    • A few testers from the community
    • Problems with MPT triplestore config
      • Does not support ITQL/SPARQL
      • Made changes to integration test to skip these tests
    • PostgreSQL 8 vs. 9 issue
      • This has addressed
    • Need OSX, OAI-PMH, GSearch testers
    • Probably does not build with Java 6 but appears to run with Java 6
      • Nick will attempt the build
  • Release status: 4.0 Beta 3
    • Will likely go out tomorrow
      • Mostly a fix to an issue introduced in Beta 2
      • New thread was being created with every node request, causing memory issues
    • Fix to an issue with later versions of Java 7
    • Includes ModeShape Alpha-4
  • Tomcat Issues (Stefano)
    • Memory issues with Fedora 4 Beta
    • Have other experienced issues?
      • Most people have been using Jetty
      • Andrew has used Tomcat but has not seen this issue
  • Java Client API
    • Most core functionality is working
      • Retrieve objects, datastreams, properties
      • Can’t update properties yet
    • Interested in getting SPARQL-update, list child objects, etc. working in the next sprint
    • There are tickets in Pivotal if anyone wants to work on them
    • Need to decide when to migrate from labs to main fcrepo organization
  • Fedora3 to Fedora4 object version migration
    • Questions from Penn State regarding migrating object versions from F3 to F4
    • We could walk through the F3 versions and create F4 versions using the Version API
      • Could introduce performance bottlenecks if many version requests need to be made
  • Atlanta hacking
    • Need a critical mass in order to make solid plans
    • Participants should get in touch with Andrew join
