Minutes

  • Final sprint before the 4.0 release
  • No lingering issues at the end of the sprint

Goals

  • Address outstanding bugs
    • Some currently identified
    • Others will come out during the sprint
    • Bugs will take priority in this sprint since we will be releasing into production immediately after
  • Complete walk-through and review of docs
    • Lots of recent movement in the codebase
    • Docs need to be reviewed in detail and updated as necessary
    • Also need to make docs easier to navigate
  • Migrate from Pivotal to JIRA
    • Great for sprints, not so great for community submissions
  • Performance tests - Grinder
    • Based on TWG
    • Kevin Clark has been working on automating Grinder deployments in EC2
    • Longshou created the first Grinder test
    • Need to create more tests
  • Bring integration tests to 80%
    • Unit tests could you some help, too
    • Currently at 69%
    • Need to make sure we’re covering our endpoints
  • Optimize ModeShape indexing
    • ModeShape 4 allows us to specify which indexes ModeShape takes care of
    • We are only using ModeShape indexing in a couple places
  • Extend fcrepo4-release-tests
    • Spins up infrastructure and exercises SPARQL recipes
    • We should add additional tests for the release
  • Simplify deployment/configuration (AuthZ, OAI)
    • Jersey2 will likely provide some opportunities here
