Sprint Analysis

  • Yinlin
    • Difficult to monitor IRC
      • Filtering conversations is challenging because of all the automatic notices
      • Maybe we should have a second channel for automatic messages
  • David
    • Standups ran over 30 minutes most days
      • This was a unique sprint in that we needed to fix bugs as they arose in order to get the code into the release
      • We should still hold longer conversations after the standup for anyone who is interested
    • LDP terminology
      • Need to highlight the connection between Fedora and LDP throughout the documentation, particularly the glossary
      • Terms like NonRdfSourceDescription need a short-hand that people will actually use
  • Mike
    • Didn’t make progress on initial tickets
    • Very productive on bugs
    • Having a clear finish line helps
  • Andrew
    • Sprints are supposed to be self-contained
      • In the past, sprints seem to roll from one to the next
      • Maybe we can do a better job encouraging this kind of outcome
    • Sprint went well
      • Good team
      • Everyone stayed focused on the goal
    • Authorization
      • Seems to be some problems with getting repository authorization to work, even amongst the sprint team
  • Osman
    • Sprint went well
