Repository user interface needs to be able to indicate to a user whether a file is currently available online, is currently being put online, or needs to be put online by the offline storage system when the user visits a landing page of a deposit consisting of one or more files.

Useful additional features:

  • Standardized API
  • Template configurable interface between the storage system and the repository which can determine the status of a given file
  • No labels

    Thank you for the use case. As middleware, Fedora does not expose a user-facing UI. However, a variation on this use case may specify the RDF triples that would be useful for a higher level application in creating such a UI.
