  • Qa Sinopia Collaboration - Meetings with Stanford will only occur on an as needed basis. Authority request issues: https://github.com/LD4P/qa_server/projects/1 (prioritized based on "important" authorities and ease of completion)

      • Greg and Steven have been working to push out updates. Steven configured a new authority. Had to deal with some issues deploying main. Will regroup next week
      • Lookup service has problems with fetching terms from LD4L cache. Greg will reach out to Dave to investigate
  • Best Practices for Authoritative Data working group (focus on Change Management)
    • 2022-08-01 Steven and Simeon attended and there was significant discussion of editorial process
  • Containerizing the QaServer - DONE
    • 2022-08-04 Greg digging in to terraform as a potential replacement for cloudformation, not ready to move yet!
  • Containerizing the Cache Indices
    • 2022-07-21 : No progress. Have not heard anything from Dave; Jason will ask him at Monday's PI meeting to respond to Greg
    • 2022-08-04 There wasn't a PIs meeting so haven't yet checked with Dave

      • Huda working through finishing the usability report from BANG. Should have that done by next meeting. Still to decide if we want to update anything for the final demo based on feedback, updating the prototype and doing a demo.  We will aim to wrap this up soon though (maybe a week for the update and then demo the week after)
      • IPLC discovery days: we did include some LD4P3 work on the discovery overview for Cornell. (and of course Melissa did a great job for the D&A work)
  • Post-BANG

      • Next next steps are: figuring out what to do for the final discovery phase.  We have thrown around ideas related to ILL/items at other institutions.  We would need to work out the linked data aspects. Also would be good to review what other options might be of interest.
      • NEXT WEEK: Start work on discovery workplan for YR3

    • no call on the 2nd. Open call on the 16th. No call on the 30th.  Resume regular programming on Sep 13th

    • Tracey engaged with MLA around how to do background work. In order to do an experiment as part of this grant we will need background work to be done would probably need data to be present by end 2022. Need to work on discovery plan for this year. Jason will discuss with Tracey

    • 2022-06-03 Meet every two. weeks. Frances has been busy with POD/ReShare work. LTS have a set of use cases to discuss with Frances in the context of the Solr index and API she is creating
    • 2022-07-21:
      • Breakthrough this week! Frances processing Peter Ward files weekly; sharing report from LC, strategizing how to convert JSON to spreadsheets for Mary to work; productive and identifying improvements. Soon can start doing authority maintenance through this process.
      • Discussed FAST maintenance strategy going forward... agree we need to do it but outstanding questions persist. Agree that should use OCLC change report. Assuming FOLIO works on better overlay strategy, considering pulling from OCLC. For records where we only have FAST, interested in pulling in LCSH
  • BIBFRAME Interoperability Group (BIG) - Steven Cornell rep and Jason alternate
    • 2022-08-04 - Had first meeting, just logistics & foundation setting. Will meet twice monthly
