This Projects Hub is an informational dashboard for SACO institutions and funnels. Though use of the Projects Hub is not required, we strongly encourage funnels and institutions to make use of this space to share and advertise their project work.

What defines a project?

For SACO purposes, a project is quickly defined as a scope of work that involves the creation of 20 or more new headings; revisions to 20 or more existing headings; or a combination of the two. If you think you might have a project, please email saco@loc.gov for more guidance.

How can I plan and propose a project?

Procedures for planning and proposing new projects are forthcoming!

Instructions for using this hub

Please use the table below to record current projects. You can also use this table to propose a new project and find support from other funnels and institution members.

You can add rows to the table by clicking your cursor into the last row and then clicking the insert row below button (or using the keyboard shortcut Alt + Down arrow).

Please fill in the table with the following information:

  • Project Name: Provide the name of your project.
  • Project Vision Statement: The Project Vision Statement is a brief description of your project (the “what”) and a high-level statement of project goals (the “why”).
  • Funnel/Institution: Provide your funnel or institution name.
  • Project Lead(s): Provide the name and email address of the Project Lead(s).
  • Related Documents: Link any position papers or documents you'd like to share.

If you're interested in working on any of the projects listed here, please email the Project Lead(s).

As projects are completed, they will be moved to a new table (to be created).
