1:30-2:00: Discussion of Roadmap Process (w/Jonathan Markow)

  • Stakeholder involvement
  • Managed projects

2:00-4:00: Roadmap Priorities

  • Our best guess. We'll bring this list to stakeholders to get input on their priorities.
  • Two approaches: Focus on one major theme & get into detail (Perf & Scalability), or cast a wide net with less detail per item.
  • Start with a brainstorm, narrow down to < 10.
  • For each, assign priority (high, medium, low) and effort (hard, medium, easy) and articulate the value to stakeholders.
  • Roadmap, and how Managed Projects fit
  • Community Process
  • Fedora Commons 4.x:
  • Fedora as a durable space within the Web (inc. esp. the Semantic Web)
  • Fedora as a repository of content
  • How to meet these modes?
