Instructions

  1. Install Islandora 2.0

There are a variety of ways to install Islandora 2.0, but a best-practice recommended by the Islandora developer community is to use ISLE, which is Islandora for Enterprise. It is a packaged, Docker-based version of the software that can be installed as a bundle rather than installing all the components individually. This makes the installation easier to manage and upgrade in the future. ISLE is generally recommended unless you have a good reason not to use it.

ISLE can be installed in both local and cloud environments. To install, follow instructions detailed in the ISLE documentation.
