The DSpace Vision work is really a collaboration between several groups, and requires approval / feedback from all of them at various stages:
- The DSpace Steering Committee
- The DSpace Community Advisory Team (DCAT)
- The DSpace Committers Team
- DuraSpace
- The ad hoc "DSpace Vision Team"
- This is really just a informal team comprising anyone on the 'dspace-vision' mailing list. It includes members of all the above groups.

What follows is an outline of the next steps in developing a vision and ultimately a technology roadmap for DSpace software. Please keep in mind that many of these steps may involve differing and sometimes overlapping groups (e.g. initial planning and use case gathering may involve DCAT or Vision Team members, while technical implementation discussions/decisions will highly involve Committers). |
