These weekly calls are open to anyone and provide a regular opportunity to hear updates from technical VIVO community members working on the core open source project, as well on VIVO implementations at numerous institutions. Calls typically last one hour, and focus on technical rather than policy issues. They include web developers, back end programmers, and site administrators. Potential adopters can join to learn where VIVO development is heading, as well to learn about implementation challenges and opportunities.
If you would like to demo work related to your VIVO implementation, in-progress or completed, please let us know with a message to the vivo-imp-issues mailing list. We're also interested in community feedback on topics for a themed discussions. Suggested themes for 2014 include Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for researcher profiles, and Integration with Content Management Systems (CMSes like Drupal or Wordpress).
