Mailing Lists

Note: Membership to the "tech", "community", and "announcements" lists can be requested by going to the "archives" link.

Slack

There is a Fedora Slack team that is used for discussion, questions, announcements, etc. Anyone can create a new channel within the Fedora Slack team once they have registered for an account.

Slack team: https://fedora-project.slack.com

Joining a Slack team requires an invitation, but anyone can generate an automatic invite using the following form: http://slack.fcrepo.org/

A tutorial can be found at https://fedora-project.slack.com/getting-started. Slack has clients for Mac, PC, Linux, and mobile devices, and may be used via any web browser.

IRC

Server: chat.freenode.net
Channel: #fcrepo

Most of the daily conversation among Fedora Repository developers and engaged and/or lurking community members takes place on the project IRC channel. This is the quickest way to ask a specific question related to the Fedora Repository.
The logs of this IRC channel are maintained here: http://irclogs.fcrepo.org/

Meetings

The Fedora project has several regular, on-going meeting series. The following meetings all take place via voice or video/voice channels. The developer/community meeting details can be found here.
