Mike, Kristi and Carol were not available to meet today.
Launching the Outreach and Engagement working group: we collected 25+ email addresses at the conference for the Outreach and Engagement email list. By the next meeting on 9/15, we hope to create this listserv so that we can send out the agenda and call information.
The conference was helpful for Alvin and a good investment of his time. The Smithsonian is transitioning their VIVO from a proof-of-concept to a public, production system. Alvin expressed interest in hearing best practices for things like creating URIs (random numbers or people identifiers?) and when to create a graph for each type of data.
