DRAGAN: I got a message from Larissa that the links in Vitro readme are broken so I fixed that in small PR. Really trivial work. It is already fixed in VIVO readme file. I just need one approve for this.

BRIAN: We should to add redirect in addition to this fix.

DRAGAN: Then it is not so trivial but it will be nice. We can try. I can communicate that with Blake from Lyrassis to se if that’s possible.

  • Docker updates

DRAGAN: Michel created a PR last week and we also have a PR from William. Besides some changes in readme there are small changes in docker-compose.yml and a sanity check for solr in start.sh file. In William’s PR it is accomplished with depends-on directive in docker-compose.yml. Best practice is to merge both those approaches so it is more robust.  This should be merged into next minor VIVO release. I will try to make them synchronised.

  • Specification of the locale by using URL

DRAGAN: We had this question in VIVO slack from BrCRIS. I can’t remember but does someone know from this group? They would like to provide locale through URL because they use VIVO as a part of the system so forwarding locale information is benefitial.

BRIAN: I’m not aware you can do that. At least at one point we paid attention of Language-Accept header but I have to double-check.

  • Presentations

DRAGAN: BrCris on 26. September 4pm CEST. UI is built with React which is communicating with ES and Kibana. When you want to see more details about publications you are redirected to VIVO. They created some interesting visualizations vith JS and SPARQL API that they would like to contribute. It will be presented as well. We are in the middle of reviewing some new features in VIVO 1.15, we will need some new documentation and even maybe presentations (20 - 30 min). It should happen after reviewing PR-s, maybe October.

GEORGY: Sure, why not.

DRAGAN: ABAC presentation is priority.

  • Conferences

DRAGAN: SWIB conference will happen and VIVO will be resented on-site. I’m not involved in organising event. Pamplona (Spain) euroCRIS strategic meeting does not have any news about meeting details.

  • Wilma requirements

DRAGAN: Accessibility Guideline Framework and responsiveness are our only requirements for now. We will include bootstrap and make Wilma official theme and remove others. Should we make 1 or 2 PR-s for that tash. For me, better to make 2.
