CRIS 2024 - https://cris2024.eurocris.org/

Dragan announced that a paper about new features introduced in the VIVO platform in the last two years had been accepted for presenting at CRIS 2024. The extended abstract and presentation will be available on the conference website. The conference will take place in Vienna in May 2024. 

PIDfest - https://www.pidfest.org/

Dragan announced that a paper about usage of persistent identifiers in VIVO has been accepted for the PIDfest conference. The conference will take place in Prague in June 2024.

ORCID funding program - https://info.orcid.org/global-participation-program/global-participation-fund/

Dragan discussed the team's plans to utilize the persistent identifiers in the VIVO platform and their interest in participating in the ORCID fund program. The call should be announced in the first week of April, the deadline for application probably will be at the end of May. 

FAIR-Impact - https://fair-impact.eu/support-offer-1-assessment-and-improvement-research-software

There are also small grants within the FAIR-impact project which can be used for alignment of the VIVO software class with best practices.

A couple of new PRs have been created in the previous week, while five of them have been merged.
