It is still possible to register for the CRIS 2024 conference. The conference will be held in Vienna on May 15th - 17th.

Map of science issue

Jaimin Darji is still trying to address the issue with Map of science. He is extracting this feature from VIVO and integrating it into an institutional website.

Google Fonts API and GDPR

Georgy explained that the issue is a little bit wider. The dependencies should be included in the VIVO project as libraries, not through API because it might lead to some recording of private information.

Solr issue

Dragan heard some issue related with Solr has been mentioned in the zoom chat in the VIVO leader group call, but doesn’t know the details. Brian explained it is about request to offer an option for running VIVO without Solr. This request is not realistic to be addressed. Search engine is part of VIVO.

VIVO 1.14.3

Release candidate 1 has been prepared. However, we will wait for https://github.com/vivo-project/Vitro/pull/463 to be merged to prepare release candidate 2.
