ISLE: Islandora Enterprise

ISLE is a set of resources, developed and supported by users of Islandora, for quickly building and updating a fully functioning Islandora system using a system building tool called Docker. The ISLE documentation provides clear instructions on how to do one, or all, of the following types of installation:

  • New ISLE: create a new ISLE instance on a production, staging or development server

  • Update ISLE: update a preexisting ISLE instance with improvements and security updates

  • Migrate to ISLE: migrate a non-ISLE Islandora 7x instance to ISLE on a production, staging or development server

  • Test/Demo ISLE: create a new ISLE instance on my laptop or workstation

  • No labels
