As of late 2018, GitHub has begun automated scanning of all third-party libraries/dependencies for known security issues. This is useful, but also results in false positives. Anyone using GitHub locally will likely have seen these.

NYU was concerned that some of these issues might affect DSpace, and asked for an analysis
