Committer Meetings

The Fedora Repository committers hold an open meeting every week at 11am Eastern (US) (NOTE: NEW TIME!).  Usually these are focused on getting updates on what people have been working on lately, as well as reviewing any newly-submitted issues. We invite you to come and participate, or just listen in. The agenda and notes (IRC Logs and audio recordings) of each of these meetings are available below.

Special Topic Meetings

Every fourth week, instead of a committer meeting, we hold a "Special Topic" meeting.  The format of these meetings will vary, but generally involves a discussion of a particular area of interest to the Fedora development community.  These discussions are also open to anyone in the community to join in and participate.  If you have an idea for a future Special Topic meeting, please add it below!

Candidate topics for future Special Topic meetings include:

  1. Code review and update on the migration to maven
  2. EC2 Share-a-thon
    1. Discussion of how various folks have used EC2 and what we've learned
    2. Collection of scripts, best practices
  3. Community Development Roles: Release manager, Jira Gardener
    1. Get ideas and state objectives on making this happen
  4. Plugin Architecture: Migration to SpringDM
    1. After repository fringe work (Aaron and Eddie), we should plan how we want to push forward (revisit/refine old ideas based on new info, put together)
