The team discussed improving the review process by creating more specific slack channels and addressing potential issues when necessary. The channel should be public. Dragan will create the channel.
Contribution guidelines should be defined in the CONTRIBUTING.md file, while the confluence wiki page should only link this source. Dragan should draft CONTRIBUTING.md.
The team also discussed changes in the pull request template (https://github.com/chenejac/VIVO/commit/2177e9c6feeee93cea2e7dc8ef59c6490ff668d9). It should include a list of requested reviewers’ expertises which should be adjusted by a creator of a PR. Brian suggested adding a line for natural languages (in the list of potential expertise needed for reviewing) and to change the top line of the template to explicitly instruct people to remove any lines that don't apply to the pull request and add any additional lines that they think would be relevant.
